THIS IS A NOTICE ON BEHALF OF HAMPSHIRE AND ISLE OF WIGHT CONSTABULARY
This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to inform the market of the intention of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary (HIWC) to recommission a Framework for the provision of accident and repair services. The current framework expires in January 2024.
HIWC would like to understand the level & range of service provider interest in delivering these services and is seeking providers who have the capability and capacity to deliver a resilient service. Furthermore, HIWC are keen to understand service provider's current issues in working with Bluelight, in particular HIWC, and how HIWC can build a framework that encourages strong working relationships in a difficult climate.
An open-to-all Microsoft Teams call will be held on 3rd May 2023 at 11am. The framework will cover repairs to vehicles for the following:
Cars and Light commercial Vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes, which would include Vehicles that require aluminium, steel, carbon fibre or composite repairs as well as the repair of electric vehicles.
Heavy Commercial Vehicles over 7.5 tonnes - This will be for HIWC recovery trucks and partner vehicles.
Mobile Small to Medium Area Repair Techniques (SMART Repairs)
The repairs will include but not be limited to:
Inspection
Adjustment
Restoration
Replacement of assemblies and components
General repair work
The following services are not required:
Mobile Windscreen Repairs and Replacements
Refuse Trucks - HC do not use refuse vehicles.
