Description

Cumberland Council is procuring a contract for the provision of Direct Payment Support Services in Cumberland to support families to utilise their Direct Payments for children and young people with disabilities.

The council proposes to enter into the Contract for an initial term of one year with the successful Tenderer (Service Provider). The initial term is 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026. There is one optional extension available of up to 12 months. Use of this optional extension is at the absolute discretion of the council. If the optional extensions is used, the Contract will end on 31st March 2027.

The maximum total value of the Contract for the initial term is £138,000 excluding VAT. The maximum total value of the Contract for the initial term plus the 12 months optional extension (if it is used) is £276,000 excluding VAT. Details of expenditure are indicative only. The council does not guarantee any spend against this Contract.
