The scope of this ‘Expression of Interest’ covers the following key requirements: · Fire door inspections to residential properties ·Training package including delivery of training and train the trainer for door inspections ·Inspection recording inc, asset information, photos and QR marking (or equivalent) The provision of these services will relate to works carried out in all Orbit residential and communal properties across its property portfolio in the UK geographies of the Midlands, the East and South East:,Estates 2,085,Blocks 2,516,Domestic properties 42,831. Potential suppliers whom have the capability to fulfil each of the below key requirements to Orbit’s entire portfolio, are invited to express their interest: (i)Door information gathering – Initial inspection visit to site to gather the data, such as but not limited to; door count (communal, flat, roof void etc), material type of door, fire set/notional/non fire doors etc, condition, QR coded (unique marking inc linked back to position of door) (ii) Annual door inspection – with the ability to change this. Annual inspections may be just for high risk properties (iii) Training – Full training package for Orbit front line staff to carry out door inspections. Additional training package for train the trainer so internal staff have the ability to train where required (inc refresher training) (iv) Portal/smartphone recording – Ability to have a system to hold all data of all doors. That can be accessed via smartphone and unique code scanned and inspection uploaded in real time. This to be carried out by the contractor and Orbit internal staff (v) Provider that has national coverage, that has ideally worked in partnership or alongside a social housing provider, and recognises their changing requirements; II.2.4) Description of the procurement: The scope of this ‘Expression of Interest’ covers the following key requirements: ·Fire door inspections to residential properties ·Training package including delivery of training and train the trainer for door inspections ·Inspection recording inc,asset information, photos and QR marking (or equivalent) Potential suppliers who respond to the PIN will be invited to a briefing presentation, hosted by Orbit via Teams on 23rd February 2022 from 11am to 1pm where Orbit shall present and discuss in more detail its objectives and requirements and provide the opportunity for interested suppliers to ask questions. Following the presentation Orbit may issue a questionnaire and or host interviews to explore the market potential to fulfil these requirements. Responding to this PIN will not automatically lead to invitations to the supplier engagement activities, Orbit specific requirements must be considered when responding. Currently there is no need to register for the tendering process but responding to the PIN allows the Contracting Authority (Orbit) to keep you continuously informed about the activities relating to appointing a supplier for the ‘Consultancy Services’. At this current time, it is envisaged that the opportunity will not be tendered, by way of subdivision into lots. Inclusion of any potential supplier in any supplier engagement entails no obligation on the part of the Contracting Authority concerning the award or conclusion of any contract or order. All ‘Expressions of Interest’ must be submitted through the Orbit Pro-Contract ‘Housing Procurement Portal’ (https://www.housingprocurement.com) by fully completing and uploading the document attached to the portal ‘Expression of Interest Response — Consultancy Services’ by no later than 12:00 noon (GMT) on 14th February 2022.
