Heat Network Opportunity at Granton Waterfront, Edinburgh

The City of Edinburgh Council is currently progressing an Outline Business Case for a low carbon heat network to serve the Granton Waterfront development and existing buildings identified in the surrounding area. The Council expects to invite parties to bid to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the low carbon heat network under a concession model. The Council has published a Prior Information Notice as a market consultation exercise to give potential bidders the opportunity to shape the Council’s procurement strategy and delivery model. Potential bidders who are interested in this opportunity are invited to download the market research questionnaire and complete no later than 27 January 2023.
