Description: UKAEA wishes to engage with potential prime contractors, SME’s and manufacturers for the procurement and supply of a Diffusion Bonding Furnace for the UKAEA. The Diffusion Bonding Furnace will be housed at UKAEA’s premises in Culham, UK. The Diffusion Bonding Furnace shall be installed and ready for use by UKAEA by the 31st March 2024 at the latest. Through this process we are looking to open up engagement with suppliers to ensure there is sufficient production capability and capacity to meet project timelines and requirements. After the engagement exercise, UKAEA intend to issue an Invitation to Tender.
