Firepool Development, Taunton: Drainage and Levels - Civils Works Contract

Somerset West and Taunton Council own land within the centre of Taunton known as the Firepool site, which is a key Town Centre Regeneration Area. Whilst the design for the Blocks on the Firepool site is being advanced an Engineering works scheme is being progressed to enable the site for development. The scope of works can be summarised as follows: • Remediation. • Raising of levels to remove the site from the functional flood plain. • Diversion of services and implementation of new drainage. • Stopping up of Highways and Highways improvement works.
