SERVICE DESCRIPTION The aim of the service is to improve the health of Surrey residents and reduce health inequalities by providing services that are tailored to local health needs and improve outcomes of residents in their communities. The County Council will commission Community Pharmacy Public Health services in Surrey to deliver the following services: Sexual Health • Emergency Hormonal Contraception (morning-after pill) • Chlamydia screening and treatment Drug Misuse services • Needle Exchange • Supervised Consumption • Take Home Naloxone Other • Health Checks in Pharmacy • BP+ It is anticipated that the tender will start in late summer 2021 with the contract starting in Spring 2022. The duration of the contract will be 5 years with option to extend for a further period(s) of up to 2 years.
