The HyNet North West Hydrogen Pipeline will be Cadent's first 100 per cent hydrogen pipeline. The pipeline forms part of the wider HyNet scheme, whose primary objective is to reduce the regional CO2 omissions. The pipeline will provide a hydrogen transportation network required to enable the UK's first fully integrated hydrogen supply system It is anticipated that there will be approximately 125km of underground HP steel pipeline and associated lower pressure spurs and Hydrogen Above Ground Installations (HAGI's). The pipeline is considered a National Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) and shall be delivered in line with the, to be submitted (by others), Development Consent Order (DCO). The project will deliver Phase 2 of the hydrogen network and is designed to enable early adopters to receive hydrogen and interlinks with hydrogen production and storage facilities. Cadent is looking to identify a single entity (JV / Consortium) to deliver the full EPCC scope Further information on the project and the interactive route corridor map can be found at: https://www.hynethydrogenpipeline.co.uk/
