Market Engagement for Eastleigh Mobility Hub and Southampton Parkway Travel Hub

The Eastleigh Mobility Travel Hub - a Local Mobility Hub (LMH) will be a single place where a range of mobility options, services and facilities in a convenient location. The proposed Eastleigh Mobility Hub is to be located near to the bus and rail station and to be served by permeable walking and cycling routes, it aims to serve the nearby residential and areas and the town centre and make switching between modes easy, uncomplicated and straight forward. The Mobility Hub if completed, will be the first in Hampshire. Prior to starting any procurement activity, the Council is inviting organisations who have an interest in, and experience of, delivering such services to an online market engagement event to consider :- • what innovative methods of delivery could be considered • what potential providers see as areas of risk • what (if anything) would stop interested parties applying for this business opportunity, prior to a contract notice being issued and applications being invited. This is an opportunity to influence and shape the future delivery of the scheme. Engagement will consist of an online event as well as a Soft Market Questionnaire which we encourage interested organisations to complete. Information gathered, and feedback supplied, will help shape the proposed future procurement. The online engagement event is scheduled to take place at 2pm - 4pm on the 11th August 2022 The event will be hosted via Teams and requests for invite will be managed via Intend.
