Digital Travel Data Services

Transport Scotland is now seeking to procure the next generation data management and online services contract to ensure continued delivery of a ‘one true source’ of travel data as committed to in the 2019 Programme for Government. The service aligns with Scottish Government objectives to facilitate modal shift to more sustainable public transport, reducing carbon emissions and supporting ambitions to reach net zero by 2045. The proposed scope of work for this next generation Digital Travel Data Services Contract will on-board a supplier that will deliver the following two workstreams and associated five work packages :- Data Services Provision of a Travel Data System including:

• Management & Processing
• Journey Planning
• Fares Aggregation
• Disruption Information; and Digital Services
• Associated services, including Digital Information Provision e.g. Website/App services
