Haringey Council ("the Council") is in the process of commissioning the provision of Domestic Abuse and Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) support services. The Domestic Abuse and VAWG support services will be divided into 8 specialised lots, encompassing refuge accommodation, community-based services, specialist provision for ethnically minoritised, and LGBTQ+ communities, support for children and young people, Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference coordination, and support for GP practices through Identification and Referral to Improve Safety. These services aim to response violence against women and girls, foster a robust and coordinated community response, and provide comprehensive support to victim/survivors and their children who are affected by domestic and gender-based abuse.
