City of Edinburgh Council - Aids for Daily Living Goods & Services Contract

The City of Edinburgh Council (the Council) are in the early stages of planning the re-tendering of the Aids for Daily Living Equipment Supply Contract and the Aids for Daily Living Equipment Servicing & Maintenance Contract, both of which have been extended to 31 May 2022, with the intention of merging both contracts into a single contract moving forward. The Council is currently examining options in terms of “route to market” which will likely be either 1. utilising an existing national framework agreement or 2. undertaking an open procedure competitive tender process. The Council is seeking to appoint a single organisation or consortium which have the capacity and infrastructure to deliver the entire portfolio of goods and services in the required geographical area, and the purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to assess the number of suppliers in the market which fit that criteria and would be interested in tendering.
