The University hospital of North Midlands is looking to award a supplier who is able to provide a minimally invasive glaucoma procedure device that targets all 3 points of resistance- Schlemm’s canal, collector channels and the trabecular meshwork in one procedure.
Surgeons are looking for a system that is indicated for the catheterization and transluminal viscodilation of Schlemm’s canal and the cutting of trabecular meshwork to reduce intraocular pressure in adult patients with open-angle glaucoma.
This is not an invitation to tender, nor does it preclude or favour eligibility to participate in the formal procurement once it starts. It is a process solely to test the current market capacity, to scope the services, and inform the procurement process.
Details in this PIN are subject to being updated or changed in the final tender notice.
