The support for the scoping of a research and development programme for the concept development of a suitable utility scaled supercritical carbon dioxide power generation plant.

The objective of this RFI is to better understand the trade space around utility scaled power generating equipment with the emphasis on supercritical CO2 turbines. This information will be used to inform the broader SPP design which includes minimum operating conditions required to meet the necessary cycle efficiency.
